Public Library [RPL] ::
As one of the top libraries in Canada, Regina Public Library
[RPL] has a wealth of resources to offer. With nine branch locations
to serve you, RPL provides a multitude of programs and services
including access to nearly everything in print or online. RPL
is a modern community centre for information, education, and
entertainment. The RPL is one of Canada's largest public information
Database systems. Your Library Card is your passport which opens
the door to all our Books, CDs, Videos / DVDs, Programs and
Services.
the challenge

The RPL was not pleased with previous efforts and attempts to
create a website that was easy to find information quickly and
having a pleasing look & feel.
interactive
solution ::
TMC Visionpool's design process was fully utilized while working
with the RPL website committee to develop new information architecture,
design vocabulary and online branding for the new website. Location
photography provided imagery to portray the individuality of
each branch location and still ensure a quality unified brand
approach. Out of our process efforts emerged a clearly organized
Database of RPL information which informed screen designs linked
our Mercury [CMS] Content Management System. The multi administrator function
was enabled to empower the nine branch location administrators
& content contributors control over their respective website
areas.
the result ::
The RPL website is now a fully dynamic online service that provides
its community the huge variety of rich programs & services
