What you may find with your ovulation chart is that your temps will rise after ovulation. When you temp goes up 4 days in a row, you may be sure you have released an egg. The final day of low temps is the day of ovulation. If you do this some months in a row, you’ll get a general idea of when is the best time to have sex for conceiving. It may change every month, but you’ll have a general concept of your cycle by that point, and you can select the best times. If you find that your temp stays up at least 20 days after your ovulation date, you might need to go out and get a pregnancy test.
